The Controller is accountable for the accounting operations of the Company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.  Works under general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer while exercising independent decision making authority. 


·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

·        2 years public accounting experience or 3 years equivalent industry experience

·        Proficiency with General Ledger Accounting Software; NetSuite experience a plus

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) required

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills required

·        Negative drug screen required

·        Availability for moderate overtime or overnight travel required

·        Clear criminal background preferred


  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely close process to include detailed division statements
  • Prepare and record journal entries allocated by division for month-end close and year-end close
  • Perform general account analysis and reconciliations including payroll, accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue, bad debt expense and employer benefits
  • Provide supervision for 5 direct reports in the Accounting Department and indirect supervision for the Billing and Collections Departments
  • Manage fixed assets within the NetSuite fixed asset management system and process monthly depreciation
  • Manage travel and expense reporting by employees using Concur software
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and customized searches in NetSuite to Company executives and managers
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer on other projects as needed
